The Waiting Room (2007)

A pair of couples start to doubt their relationships after a love at first sight meeting in Roger Goldby's British romance flick, The Waiting Room (2007). Single mother Anna (Anne-Marie Duff) is divorced from Toby (Adrian Bower) and having an unfulfilling affair with her best friend Jem's (Zoe Telford) husband George (Rupert Graves). Stephen (Ralf Little) has a steady girlfriend named Fiona (Christine Bottomley) who he really doesn't feel a spark with anymore. One day, the pair meet at a train station where an old man (Frank Finlay) is waiting for his wife, but just might need some help from the two. It's an instant attraction and a serious case of love at first sight, but they barely do any talking nevermind exchange phone numbers or try to make plans to see each other again. Heading back home, both become obsessed with their train station run-in and struggle to find any satisfaction in their lives with their romantic partners. But are they throwing away their lives for a hot, new thing that might not live up to their fantasies? Or have they found the one, and only needed that one interaction to know it?
