After years in a mental hospital, schizophrenic Ray (Daniel Craig) is released into his brother’s care but threatens to ruin his life in Some Voices (2000). Joe Penhall, who'd go on to make Netflix's Mindhunters, adapted his own hit play into this Simon Cellan Jones directed flick. Our crazy hot crazy dude Ray has to move into his chef brother Pete's (David Morrissey) house, then gets a gig at the restaurant where Pete works. There, Ray goes gaga over fellow employee Laura (Kelly MacDonald) who is equally off-kilter. Soon the demented duo decides to run away and get married. He even starts opting not to take his pills, since they blunt the highs of love that Ray experiences. When Pete falls in love with a woman named Mandy (Julie Graham), he can't keep as close of an eye on his mentally ill, crazy in love brother. Between forgetting meds, hearing voices, and the stress and strain of daily life, will Ray be able to put his loony past to bed? Will his brother have to live his entire life taking care of him, or can he create a life of his own. And, most importantly, will you be rewarded with some naked Daniel Craig screen time? Yes! Before he was Bond, Craig decides to engage in some street art in the movie, which requires him to strip down completely and let his paintbrush hang out for all to see. Damn, Bond has a giant wand! Then, he'll turn around and show us his ass with a bit of paint across his cheeks. Let it dangle, Daniel! After watching that, some voices might be saying, “Pause! Rewind! Play it again!”
