Leguizamo, Melinda (Close Encounters of the Third Kind) Dillon, Michael (Never Been Kissed) Vartan, Patrick (Dirty Dancing) Swayze, Robin (Good Will Hunting) Williams, Stockard (Grease) Channing, Wesley (White Men Can’t Jump) Snipes, and of course Julie (Batman) Newmar! The movie also includes Naomi Campbell, RuPaul Charles, Quentin Crisp, and Mr. Swayze’s sexy skin! After Australia’s The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) starring Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving and Terence Stamp became a hit, American writer Douglas Carter Beane whipped out his script for this pic. Both films are about men in drag on a road trip. Coincidence or copying? We won’t say.
