The seven minute experimental French short film Toxic River (2023) is one of those enigmatic works where you have to decide for yourself what it is that you've just watched. It mostly consists of two middle aged people walking in silence, first clothed, then nude, before arriving at the—presumably—titular body of water and walking right into it. The film stars Fabien Waltefaugle and Severine Douard, who bare all as they hold hands, walking toward an uncertain but seemingly doomed fate together. Enjoy the looks you get a Fabien's penis, balls, and buns, because they're sadly not onscreen for very long!
