Underground Aces (1981)

If you’ve ever wondered what a valet parker really does with your vehicle when you’re not looking, then Underground Aces (1981) is the movie for you. Not to be confused with the war drama Underground (1970), this PG-rated romp centers around the hijinks happening with a gaggle of parking attendants who work at the Beverly Hills Hotel. When they’re not going for joyrides in customers’ cars, they’re trying to charm the pants off of lovely ladies such as Annie (Audrey Landers), Lucy (Melanie Griffith) and Madeline (Mimi Maynard). Also during their work hours, these guys make time to doff their duds so they can make the most of the hotel’s amenities. For example, Pete Huffman (Dirk Benedict) flaunts his pretty pecs in the pool. If that’s not hot enough, Tico (Robert Hegyes) steams up the screen when he soaks his topless bod in the jacuzzi. The same can be said for ebony eyeful Ollie (Randy Brooks). Not to be outdone, Sheik (Kario Salem) shows off his black bathing trunks and hairy chest. Too bad these aces don’t go completely wild and lose their suits altogether. Under the direction of Robert (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) Butler, the comedy also includes Frank Gorshin, Jerry Orbach, Michael Winslow, Rick Podell, Sid Haig, T.K. Carter, and the skin on Ralph Seymour! As Zig, the latter actor flashes his smooth abs while taking a shower. Quick, grab a towel! In other words, the headlights on these underground parkers may get your motor running!
