Wet Hot American Summer (2001)

You’ll feel wet while watching the hotties in Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Thanks to the direction of funnyman David Wain, this cult comedy is literally campy as it centers around the staffers at Camp Firewood. Set within a 24-hour period in 1981, the amusing movie follows Coop Cooperberg played by Michael Showalter, who co-wrote the silly screenplay with Mr. Wain. Coop crushes on counselor Katie Finnerty (Marguerite Moreau) even though she’s dating lifeguard Andy (Paul Rudd) who is secretly trysting with counselor Lindsay (Elizabeth Banks). Luckily for flesh fans, Paul flashes his ass in a deleted scene! When Ben (Bradley Cooper) isn’t working on the talent show with Susie (Amy Poehler), he’s sneaking off to suck face with McKinley (Michael Ian Black). In addition to exposing their chests, the two reveal their same-sex preference! Meanwhile, Victor Pulak (Ken Marino) tries to lose his virginity to Abby Bernstein (Marisa Ryan). As such, we get to see him strut his stuff in tighty whities that cannot hide his erect bulge! Speaking of, camp director Beth (Janeane Garofalo) turns the head of brainy Professor Henry Newman (David Hyde Pierce). Last but not least, the facility’s cook, Vietnam War vet Gene (Christopher Meloni), gives in to his sexual fetishes. In other words, we are treated to a view of his nude booty! No wonder this pic launched two Netflix series: Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015) and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later (2017). We can’t wait to see what’s next!
