World on a Wire is a classic two-part mini-series from 1973 where a futuristic computer project called Simulacron has been created to simulate reality. It is what we would call now a virtual reality type of thing. The project's leader is named Henry Vollmer and one day he sadly dies unexpectedly. His successor to the projects starts to notice some weird things after he takes over. He experiences dizzy spells and brain fog. His friend also disappears and everyone acts like they never knew him. These are just a few things that happen without any explanation. It is now up to him to figure out what is happening and see if he can stop it before it is all too late. This was originally released in West German TV and then it was not seen again until the 2000s. The world is on a wire, but how about the clothes? Can we see some 70s European actors without any clothes on, please? Klaus Lowitch plays Fred Stiller and your heart will not be still when you see him shirtless in three separate scenes. In one of those scenes, he even hangs out in his underwear. Watch him wear some tighty-whiteys - well, tighty-gray-ies? - as he lounges around in his undies. Check out the check hair on his pecs and the specks of hair on his belly as he hangs around inside and outside without a shirt. We love a man who has this kind of confidence. No clothes? No problem!
