Based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s best-selling novel, 56 Days is a steamy Amazon adaptation that unfolds across two timelines.Ciara Wyse (Dove Cameron) crosses paths with Oliver Kennedy (Avan Jogia) during a chance encounter at a supermarket, kicking off a fast-moving romance that quickly turns intense. The second timeline jumps ahead 56 days, when police discover a badly decomposed, unidentifiable body inside Oliver’s upscale apartment. The story bounces between past and present, gradually revealing that Ciara isn’t exactly who she seems. Oliver is no angel either, harboring plenty of darkness of his own. As their relationship unravels, detectives Karl Connolly (Dorian Missick) and Lee Reardon (Karla Souza) work to uncover the victim’s identity and how things ended so brutally. This page turner could definitely feature more Avan Jogia nudity, since all we really get is a flash of his ass as he walks across the bathroom. There's plenty of shirtless action to help satiate his fans, however. Forget 56 Days, we'd like to see Avan with 56 gays! What?
