About Fate (2022)

About Fate (2022) is a remake of a made for TV Russian film from the late seventies titled The Irony Of Fate, Or Enjoy Your Bath!, which is honestly an all-timer of a title and one thing this remake should have absolutely retained. It's late December and Griffin (Thomas Mann) and Margot (Emma Roberts) are about to be engaged... but not to one another. Griffin is scheduled to pop the question to his influencer girlfriend Clementine (Madelaine Petsch), but after a drunken mixup, ends up at Margot's apartment instead where she has just been dumped by Kip (Lewis Tan), whom she thought was going to propose to her. Margot talks Griffin into attending her sister's wedding and posing as her fiancé, setting in motion a series of events that's sure to alter their lives forever. Since this is a glorified Hallmark Channel movie, don't expect any nudity, though Thomas Mann is shirtless a lot and even appears naked in one scene with only a teddy bear covering his junk!
