Adam at Six A.M. (1970)

Before he was famous, Michael Douglas headlined a pair of low budget dramas, the second of which was Adam at Six A.M. (1970). It's funny to think that Douglas could ever convincingly play a young man at a crossroads in his life, but that's what this movie's all about. Douglas stars as Adam Gaines, a Professor of Semantics at an unnamed California college who travels to Missouri to attend the funeral of a distant relative. While there, he decides to stay for the summer and take a job working on power lines, but when he meets and falls in love with Jerri (Lee Purcell), it might just compel him to turn this summer job into his new vocation! Sadly, Michael Douglas doesn't get nude in the flick, but he does have a pair of shirtless scenes that rank among his first sexy content ever featured on film!
