Diane Keaton plays a successful teacher who spends her days working with deaf children and her nights cruising bars looking for men to have sex with. Her desires get darker and darker as she seeks out men to have aggressive, violent sex with then finds herself dabbling in drugs.
In one of the more famous sex scenes from this movie, Richard Gere runs around a room doing pushups and exercising while wearing only a jock strap.
