All or Nothing (2002)

All Or Nothing (2002) is a film by British writer and director Mike Leigh. In this story, a working-class family in London is struggling to capture their spark. Penny is feeling checked out of her relationship with her partner Phil who is a taxi driver. When tragedy strikes, however, their relationship gets newly tested. They find themselves needing to be there for one another in brand new ways as the community they live in and their friends and family also show up to show their support for the couple. All of this tests them, but it ultimately brings them closer together. They rekindle their love for one another and wind up swerving their relationship into brand new territory with stronger, bigger love. That sometimes happens! Tragedy either brings you together or tears you apart - it can be a real all-or-nothing situation. Hey, is that why this is the title? It must be! Spoiler alert: this tragedy brings them together, but we also get to see a shirtless man who is filled with passion. If only he would fill us with his passion. Daniel Mays plays Jason who really flirts with giving us nothing when he is merely shirtless in this scene. He is getting into it with a woman lying in bed, but we only see him above the waist. Check out his hairy nipples and his lean chest as he shows us his emotional side. It's sad he only gave us half-nudity though. Go all the way, Daniel Mays!
