Beyond the Walls (2012)

During a drunken night at the bar, Paulo (Matila Malliarakis) makes eyes at handsome bartender Ilir (Guillaume Gouix), leading to a disasterous love affair in the Belgian drama Beyond the Walls (2012). After Ilir gives the inebriated Paulo a ride home, they soon get lost in love and lust. The problem is that Paulo already has a girlfriend (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin), who proceeds to dump him after her suspicions of homosexual infidelity are proven valid. Arriving at Ilir’s apartment with all his belongings, the two begin to enjoy the highs and lows of first time love that eventually leads to heartbreak.
