Crónicas (2004)

Crónicas (2004) is a Ecuadorian thriller that stars John Leguizamo in his first Spanish speaking role playing Reporter Manolo Bonilla, who bails out prisoner Vinicio Cepeda, locked up for a high profile hit-and-run accident that incited a riot. Bonilla’s hope that Cepeda, whose had some questionable associations, can lead him to the whereabouts of a young female victim killed by a serial murderer known as the Monster of Babahoyo. Cepeda stays true to his word, leading the reporter to the burial ground of the girl, but it becomes ever more apparent than ever that he was withholding a few key details of the crime. Not withholding much is the fit as always Leguizamo, looking manly as Manolo while he showers and talks to his lady friend. We get a good look at his smooth muscled torso as he towels off and steps out. Earlier, he pounds her on top a bed, wearing a shirt, but showing off his big bare butt which thrusts vigorously in a distant down-the-hall shot. Not to be outdone, the delectable Damián Alcázar seems to be competing in a one-man wet undies contest, first emerging from a river and showing the top of his butt in his soaking see-thru briefs and later showering in them. Damián, you know you could just ditch them altogether right? Leguizamo isn't the only one wondering what you're hiding.
