Dance For Me (2023)

Dance For Me is a BET+ movie about an exotic dancer trying to shed more than her clothes. She's trying to shed her checkered past in favor of a new life with an up-and-coming politician! Kearia Schroeder plays Isis, our exotic dancer, and Gavin Houston plays Osiris, the local politician who offers Isis a stable future. Pre-Osiris, Isis was happy to dance odd hours at the Foxy Lady, and was even flirting with the idea of teaming up with Seth (Jeremy Meeks), a con artist. That life was fine for Isis in her youth, but when we find her in Dance For Me, she is raising a son and caring for her elderly father. Her crazy days are behind her, but Seth will stop at nothing to keep Isis, including coming for Orisis. Throughout all of that craziness, you may have paused for a second when you read the name Jeremy Meeks. If he sounds familiar, it's because he's the strikingly handsome blue-eyed criminal whose mug shot went viral in 2014 when it was posted to Facebook. Meeks was subsequently recruited to be a model, and we're so happy that his career continues to be on the up and up - especially since in his lead role in Dance For Me, Jeremy Meeks shows off that famously ripped bod, and of course, flashes those baby blues every chance he gets.
