Inga Lindström (2004-2015)

The German romantic drama series Inga Lindström follows the tales of writer Christiane Sadlo, who crafts novels under the titular pen name. Essentially, every episode is like a little Sweden-set Hallmark Channel movie that Inga constructs, with people finding love in some of the most beautiful locales ever put to screen. Each episode is different, but never all that different. So, we get stuff like a big city chef named Lena (Susanne Gartner) leaving Stockholm to spend some time in the country, where she takes a waitress job and finds a hot horse farmer (Robert Seeliger) to do some riding on top of. There's one where pastry chef Hilla (Josephin Busch) gets a new job at a hotel where the receptionist Jonas (Roman Roth) does everything he can to win her affections. Pastries and hot men dying to get in your panties: it's every girl's dream. In another episode we get Helena (Susanne Uhlen), a dance teacher, and her daughter Leonie (Sarah Ulrich), a chef at a ritzy hotel run by Gunnar Hansen (Rüdiger Joswig). Looks like Leonie is crushing hard on her boss, because she dreams of spending the rest of her life with Gunnar. Helena celebrates her classes victory at a dance competition, a victory that earns her and her students a photo in the local paper. The problem is, Helena's got a psycho ex who sees the photo and heads to Sweden to do some stalking. Don't worry, of course she has a hot and rugged man to protect her! While the Swedish landscape provides most of the natural beauty, Hendrik Duryn in his bathing suit, emerging from the lake, certainly adds to the aura. But the scene that'll really give you fits is when Florian Fitz flashes his fanny while getting out of the bathtub and not realizing the door to another woman's room connects with his! Oh well. Maybe Mr. Man could try Mr. Fitz on for size? If you've got the need for Swede, few romantic shows can touch Inga Lindström!
