Ironweed (1987)

Ironweed (1987) is an American drama directed by Hector Babenco and starring Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep and Carroll Baker. Set in 1938, the film follows a drifter couple who return to their hometown. The woman was once a singer and the man was a professional baseball player. Now the couple are alcoholics haunted by their pasts. The film explores the couple’s strange code of loyalty as the two revisit their families and those they have wronged. You’re going to be revisiting a scene at 01:44:17 because our lovely leading man Jack Nicholson gets stripped and sexy for a scene in the bathtub! We get a great look at Jack’s hot, hairy chest while he takes a soak in the bath. Jack is getting squeaky clean, but the sight of his naked chest is making us feel pretty dirty!
