Ong Bak 2 (2008)

Muay Thai master Tien (Tony Jaa) is back in action in Ong Bak 2 (2009). Even though the number 2 in the title refers to a sequel, this martial arts flick has no connection to the original. Go figure. Set in 1431 in Thailand, the film revolves around Tien, the son of Lord Sihadecho, a murdered nobleman. Living in a life of slavery, Tien eventually escapes and crosses paths with a dude named Chernung (Sorapong Chatree), a renowned fighter and feared leader of Pha Beek Khrut, a group of bad ass bandits. Chernung takes the youngster under his wings and trains him a variety of lethal marital arts styles. Once he gets his kicks and punches down, Tien heads out on a lone mission to unleash his vengeance on the people that enslaved him. While kicking ass, the determined dude comes face to face with Rajasena Lord (Sarunyu Wongkrachang), the evil warlord who murdered his father.

If you’re looking for action, you found the right flick. If you’re looking for skin, you’re out of luck. Tony Jaa does give us a teasing look at his built bod as he battles baddies. Mr. Man would love to do some shirtless grappling with Tony!
