Sorted (2000)

Back when popping a disco biscuit, throwing on some glow sticks and going to a rave was still something British kids did on the regular, Alexander Jovy took advantage of the trend with his stylish whodunnit Sorted (2000). In the film, Matthew Rhys stars as an English attorney named Carl who gets involved in the Ecstasy-fueled London nightlife while investigating the death of his brother. Carl is a bit of a square from Scunthorpe, which means he struggles with a big of culture shock when he has to head to the big city to figure out what happened to his brother. When the sort of straight dude has to dive into the underground rave world, which his brother had fallen deep into, his investigation puts him head-to-head with the Shakespeare quoting club owner Damian (Tim Curry), who appears to rule this strange subculture. But if figuring out what happened to his bro isn't motivation enough, his brother’s old girlfriend Sienna Guillory is as poppable as any pill, although sex worker Fay Masterson is left to swing her swag like a pendulum do! There’s also UK pop star Jason Donovan looking quite lovely as a drag queen, though most fans know this one for being one of Idris Elba's earliest roles, even if it's not much of an appearance. Whether Carl figures out what happened to his brother or not, at least he looks super hot! Matthew Rhys is no stranger to getting undressed on-screen, and Sorted is no exception. After a sex scene with Masterson, Rhys rolls over and reveals a little rump n’ rod. That scene definitely got sorted into the “watch that one again” pile. Sex, drugs and awesome man ass? Sorted is just the sort of movie Mr. Man's a huge fan of!
