Soul of the Game (1996)

Soul of the Game (1996) takes place in the years immediately following World War II, and is about the drafting of the first African American baseball player into the major leagues. Talented studs Satchel Paige (Delroy Lindo) and Josh Gibson (Mykelti Williamson) are both confident that they have the skills to be the first baseball player to cross from the African American baseball league to the majors. Satchel is known for his pitching, while Josh is a catcher. Hmmm, we like. In a surprising turn of events rookie Jackie Robinson (Blair Underwood) beats out his competitors and is drafted into the Kansas City Monarchs. While Satchel and Josh try not to be sore losers, your hand will be sore after getting a peek at Mykelti and Delroy’s sexy bodies!
