While those who weren't around to experience it might not quite believe it, Steve Guttenberg was a legitimate A list icon and sex symbol back in the 80’s when he was pumping out huge hits like the Police Academy series, Short Circuit (1986), Cocoon (1985) and 3 Men and a Baby (1987). A New Yorker through and through, Steve got his start on stage before moving to Hollywood and ending up in a KFC commercial alongside the Colonel himself. Steve and his finger lickin good body started their screen acting career off with a bang, playing Heisman winner John Cappelletti Jr. in the tearjerker Something for Joey (1977). After a role in The Boys from Brazil (1978) it looked like Steve was going to be a sports biopic specialist after he was American hockey star Jim Craig in Miracle on Ice (1981), but that all changed when Steve was cast in Diner (1982). That star studded, 50's set Baltimore bro-fest made stars of Mickey Rourke, Daniel Stern, Kevin Bacon and Tim Daly, but Steve was the real standout. Now known for his comedic chops, Steve killed it in the invisible man comedy The Man Who Wasn't There (1983). But as much as we were laughing, some highly visible looks at his ass as he returns from invisibility, sans clothes, were what kept us glued to our seats. If we can't see Steve, we will just have to touch him! And ourselves. Steve's career exploded when he went shirtless in the monster hit comedy Police Academy (1984). Seeing him in a towel after a day full of shenanigans is quite the sexperience. Don't bother calling 911 though, not all cops are sexy bastards like Steve! Since the sequels were hugely forgettable, you should known he flashed ass again in The Bedroom Window (1987) proving that, sorry Simpsons fans, his cut from stone chest made him a star, not the Stonecutters. He makes out with an evil old witch in High Spirits (1988), but Steve's career stalled in the 90's. Other than appearing in the kids soccer flick The Big Green (1995), and Casper: A Spirited Beginning (1997), it was a bit of a wasted, dick free decade. Thankfully, Steve switched to the small screen in the 2000's, playing Woody Goodman on Veronica Mars, a hilarious version of himself on Party Down, Wayne Hastings Jr. on Ballers, and Dr. Katman The Goldbergs. Even after all these years, how cute is the Gute?
