Take Me Somewhere Nice (2019)

When you hear the cry of "Take Me Somewhere Nice" from your significant other, she ain't talking about the Olive Garden, or at least we don't think she is, so definitely don't take her for endless salad and breadsticks, even though that is all we can think about now...  Sigh.  This flick, instead of focusing on a lame date night as the title would imply, it's actually a road trip movie where a young Dutch girl goes back to her roots in Bosnia to see her sick dad, but the hook is that she's never met her father before, nor has she been to the Balkans.  We guess it's not really a proper road trip if you don't have misadventures along the way and that is exactly what happens to the protagonist Alma (Sara Luna Zoric), especially when she slowly begins to ramp up her relationship to dear old dying dad.  This one zig-zags across the Balkans as much as it makes your emotions zig-zag as well with it's portrayal of father/daughter dynamic, first encounters, all the while focusing on the sexual awakening of the young Alma as she discovers her dad isn't much longer for this world, so she better make good on the time she has with him.  This movie is an international indie darling that is rocking some serious critical acclaim, but we came here to see one thing and one thing only, and that is the nudity, as we are apt to do!  Alma gets down with a couple of Balkan boy toys in this one and we are definitely double checking those dumptruck derriere's of theirs when they hit the screen!  We get some booty takes on Lazar Dragojević and Ernad Prnjavorac, and as unpronounceable as their names look, their cheeks are definitely speaking the international language of horny to us!
