The Acolyte (2024)

The Acolyte is Disney+'s 2024 entry into the Star Wars mythos and follows a former padawan named Osha (Amandla Stenberg) who teams up with her former Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae as Master Sol) to hunt down a Jedi killer who (SPOILER ALERT) happens to be Osha's twin sister Mae (also played by Stenberg). Fans should note that this is the first live-action Star Wars outing to take place outside of the so-called Skywalker Saga. The Acolyte takes place one hundred years before the events of The Phantom Menace. The real menace in The Acolyte is the lack of nudity. No surprise here - the family-friendly Star Wars franchise is always stingy on the skin. That is, when Princess Leia isn't chained up in a bikini. With that said, Mr. Man-favorite actor Charlie Barnett does his darndest to sex up The Acolyte by flaunting his incredible body during a shirtless shot. This scene is Acol-lit!
