The Bobby Brown Story (2018)

After creating a successful miniseries about the OG Boston boy band New Edition just a year earlier, BET focused on the most iconic, successful and controversial member of the group with The Bobby Brown Story (2018). For those who don't know, before he was a drug addicted mess, Bobby Brown was an R&B sensation setting the world on fire with his hit songs and take no crap attitude. The film kicks off with Bobby (Woody McClain) deciding that he's sick of being controlled by the record companies and dealing with the "good boys" image they force on him and his bandmates. Bobby opts to go solo, and becomes one of the biggest stars of the 90's. From railing Janet Jackson (Cree Davis), to impregnating two separate women at the exact same time, Bobby couldn't keep it in his pants. But when you see how much death he was surrounded by, it makes sense that he was always looking for a companion. Of course, eventually he'll develop a nasty drug addiction and set Whitney Houston (Gabrielle Dennis) on a path to ruin. But damn if he won't look good doing it. If you popped your first boney to the video for Roni, you'll be spiraling yourself while looking at the hot and hunky Woody McClainperform shirtless onstage. Look at those abs! We get to see his sexy torso again when he sits up shirtless in bed to let us admire his shoulders and pecs. He's looking pectacular! He's just gotten done pleasing a woman, and she's trying to be clingy. But Bobby Brown cannot be tamed! Mr. Man is going to sit back and pleasure himself to those scenes in The Bobby Brown Story. That's his prerogative!
