Getting back to its music roots, cable network VH1’s television movie The Breaks (2016) explores the exciting beginnings of hip-hop in the early 1990’s. Our window into this world is through a group of friends and their undying determination to make it big in music and create something never done before. This period piece brings us plenty of fine pieces of man meat, but unfortunately no below the belt action.
