The Canal (2014)

The suspenseful Irish horror flick The Canal (2014) centers around David (Rupert Evans), a film archivist, and his relationship with his wife, Alice (Hannah Hoekstra), and the history of their spooky home. David is currently going through a rough patch in his life, which only worsens when he suspects that Alice is banging Alex (Carl Shaaban), one of her handsome work clients. When it rains, it pours, and David’s stress level goes through the roof when his work partner, Claire (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), gives him a reel of film that documents his home was the location of a bloody murder in 1902. Stress gives way to paranoia and he begins to suspect that there is a spectral visitor in the house. The ghost quickly becomes the least of his worries when his fears of his wife’s infidelity are visually confirmed. When Alice goes missing, David contacts the police with his concerns, but he quickly becomes suspect number one in the case of her disappearance. With the police building their case against David, he struggles to prove his innocence while believing that something otherworldly is the real culprit in Alice’s disappearance. Speaking of disappearances, real-life male model Carl Shaaban’s clothes disappear to give us an awesome view of his spectacular ass while thrusting into his woman. Now that’s an ass we’re glad that got archived on film!
