The Expanse (2015-2021)

Inspired by the series of novels from author James S. A. Corey and crafted by two of the screenwriters behind Children of Men (2006), it's no surprise SyFy's space opera The Expanse racked up an expansive number of Hugos, Saturns, and all the other nerd awards there are to win. Set 200 years in the future, The Expanse explores what life would be like if humans colonized the Solar System. There are colonies on the moon, Mars, Earth, and a bunch of poor people stuck working out on the asteroid belt derisively dubbed "belters." The Mars guys are a sort of Sparta, since they're an independent nation obsessed with the military while the Earth crew has all the cash. Our window into this futuristic universe are the crew of The Roci, a former Martian warship turned civilian vessel, including detective Miller (Thomas Jane), executive officer Jim Holden (Steven Strait), and future UN big-wig Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo). When a ship called The Canterbury blows up, Holden and a few of his friends are the sole survivors thanks to a fake distress call seemingly invented to get him on the rescue ship instead of the one about to explode. With Holden now at the helm, the Roci sets out to figure out what happened before the blame game turns into a total war. Needless to say, there is a ton of lore to get into in this show that lasted for six seasons between SyFy and Amazon Prime. But is there anything in The Expanse that'll have you taking off your pants? Well, at one point we get the quite thin Christian Bako showing that baby's got back as he lies hunched over dead, while in another scene Steven Strait shows his buns as he gives a girl the D in zero gravity! That definitely floats our boat! A few more dudes that'll have you happy to hear that in space no one can hear you cream include Thomas Jane as the hard-boiled detective with the rock hard abs, Wes Chatham flexing his abs and pecs as a girl aggressively rides on top of him, William Yong looking skinny as a shirtless survivor, and Adam Bogen as a naked corpse laid out on a slab, but still looking fab! That'll have your pants expanding watching The Expanse!
