The Games (1970)

Taking place during a fictional 1970s Olympics in Rome, The Games (1970) follows four athletes during their grueling training for the marathon, while on the side each long-distance runner struggles with a different set of personal issues. Michael Crawford grapples with a tough coach, Ryan O'Neal has a life threatening heart condition, and Charles Aznavour is past his prime but forced to compete by Great Britain, while Athol Compton plays an Aborigine battling prejudice. And of course, a story about male athletes is bound to have plenty of sex appeal as these studs work on perfecting their athletic bodies! While there are no private views, it is O’Neal and his running bud played by Sam Elliot who show the most skin when they visit a Japanese spa.  Now the deserves a gold medal!
