The Guest Book (2017-2018)

Before he was writing on hit shows like My Name is Earl, Greg Garcia was a weird dude with a strange habit: whenever he went somewhere, he liked to write a fake name along with a fake story in the hotel guest book. Taking inspiration from the characters he created, in 2017 Greg created the TBS comedy anthology television show The Guest Book. More Room 104 than The White Lotus, the half hour show featured a new, famous guest star each episode and a story that was more often than not completely unrelated to any other one. The show sees the guest star checking into the hotel: a cottage in a tiny mountain town that gets a slew of insane tourists in the first season and a beach resort in the second, then following them as they go about their lives and occasionally interact with the workers who remain the same throughout the show's season. Guests come from all over with a surprising amount of baggage - and not just bags! Whether it's Jaime Pressly playing a former porn star trying to hide her past while tripping on pot brownies, Michael Rapaport as a nerd throwing a fake party to woo the girl of his dreams (Kate Micucci), Pete Davidson as a reality TV star recruiting a stripper to pretend to be his girlfriend, or Jenna Fischer as a nurse who is so excited that her Alzheimer's afflicted patient (Orson Bean) is remembering his youth only to reveal that he was a Klansmen who burned churches, each episode was like its own show. Unfortunately, that's what doomed this one, as critics felt like they wanted way more of the guest stars they liked and way less of the ones they didn't. We'd like to sign The Guest Book for hot visitors to John Hennigan's hunky body, as long as that book is an erotic one! We are feeling porny and horny after seeing the bodybuilder ripped from head to toe. We even get the added treat of side-buns to admire! Jimmy Tatro also goes fully unclothed in a scene where he wakes up after a morning after with his ass fully up in the air. Throw in Nat Faxon in his boxers doing some VR boning, Tongaya Chirisa showing his booty while boning some lucky lady, Steve Zissis doing some longing for more in just a pair of skivvies, and more, and this is the type of hotel Mr. Man wants to hoe around in! Who'd have guessed The Guest Book would have us so horny? We'd definitely visit this place again.
