The Jacket (2005)

Based on a 1915 Jack London novel called The Star Rover, The Jacket (2005) refers to a straitjacket, which wounded Desert Storm War vet Jack Starks (Adrien Brody)is put into after he returns from the front acting like a nut. Jack took a gunshot to the head and hasn't been quite mentally right ever since, both because war is Hell and because parts of his brain got destroyed. Wrongly convicted of killing a cop while hitchhiking, his doctor (Kris Kristofferson), pumps him up with all sorts of psychotropic drugs, tightens his jacket, and sticks him in a morgue drawer as a means of torturing him. But rather than succumb to the torture, he figures out a way to time travel while in there. Suddenly, he's visiting Jackie Price (Keira Knightley), a woman he met fifteen years ago when she was just a little girl. She's in some sort of danger and Brody wants to help her, while also making sure he doesn't get framed for the police officer's murder. But will Jackie believe he's a time-traveling mental patient or dismiss him as a crazy person? She'll probably call the cops, since she's convinced the man that she met back in 1992 died only a year later. He'll need to figure out what's going on without the doctor finding out where he goes when he gets put in the jacket. Speaking of straitjackets, since we're not straight at all, we wish Jack Starks gave us a scene where he got stark naked, but Adrien doesn't let us see everything. Instead, at one point Mr. Brody ends up in bed with Keira and we see his ass while they're rolling around. That'll have you jacking it to The Jacket!
