Review

Milk (2008) is the true story of Harvey Milk (Sean Penn).  It follows his struggles as a gay activist fighting for gay rights and his journey to become America’s first openly gay politician. Harvey left the closet and New York and came to San Francisco where his camera shop became the hub for the emerging gay movement.  The film also chronicles his political relationship with Dan White and their battle over banning gays from public school jobs.

There is a lot of delicious man candy sprinkled throughout the depictions of San Francisco’s growing gay scene.  None is more delicious than Penn, who looks skincredibly buff.  In on hot hump, his activist asset is grinding into his Latin lover who gives it a swift smack.  Joining the fun is James Franco who lets us get a wet and wild look at his underwater flotation device as he swims naked in a pool.  Lucky water.
