Director Bernardo Bertolucci has made a name for himself as the maestro of highbrow explicit sexual content, and his eye for guys is a peak form in The Dreamers (2003). The man who teamed up Marlon Brando with a stick of butter in Last Tango in Paris (1972) is at it again, this time following a trio of youths in 1968 Paris. Matthew (Michael Pitt) is an America who befriends brother and sister duo Théo (Louis Garrel) and Isabelle (Eva Green) during a protest. Our out-of-towner stays with the siblings at their parent’s house, but when the parents go away, Théo and Isabelle come out to play. It turns out that the two like keeping it all in the family when it comes to touching below the belt, and it doesn’t take long for Matthew to become intoxicated with their whimsical, laissez faire, and highly sexual ways. The siblings become dependent on having Matthew as their third, but when his sexual threshold is pushed to the limits (as well as his frustration with their poser political views), will he leave them forever?
The dong and ass in The Dreamers is truly overwhelming, easily cementing this flick as a Four Star Mr. Man title. Pitt and Garrel take a cocks-out bath together, and Garrel manages to show solo schlong in two separate scenes. In one of the flick’s most man-morable moments, Eva peels off Pitt’s boxers to reveal his great dick with a picture stuck to it! The Dreamers? More like The Creamers!
