Broken Rage (2024)

The Japanese comedy action flick Broken Rage made its debut at the Venice Film Festival, and now has finally come home to Mr. Man. Welcome! This is a thinking man's action comedy with a unique premise. The director delivers the same story both as a drama and as a comedy, which highlights the importance of storytelling. The story, told two ways, involves a hitman who fights for his life as he's pursued by the po po and the yakuza. Masanori Hasegawa steals the show - both of them - by delivering the only nude scene in Broken Rage.
