Fingers (1978)

Jimmy "Fingers" Angellini (Harvey Keitel) is a man torn between the two sides of his personality in James Toback's Fingers (1978). On the one hand, Jimmy is a quiet piano virtuoso who walks around with a tape recorder full of pop hits and a head full of future recitals he plans on playing. That side of him comes from his late mom, who was also a musician. On the other hand, Jimmy pays his bills by beating the crap out of people as a mob enforcer for his loan shark father Ben Angellini (Michael V. Gazzo). Jimmy is extremely protective of his hands, which makes beating up bet welchers a bit difficult. He's got a big rehearsal with Arthur Fox (Dominic Chianese) at Carnegie Hall, just as he also has to try to get twenty grand from a local crook named Riccomonsa (Tony Sirico). Throw in his sudden infatuation with a beautiful woman named Carol (Tisa Farrow) and a few unpleasant run-ins with nightclub owner Dreems (Jim Brown), and Fingers has a whole lot of problems on his hands. Jimmy might be an amazing pianist, but it's Harvey Keitel who has unleashed his amazing penis a whole lot over the course of his career. Thumbs up for that! For the most part he keeps his mandangler under wraps here, but there is a brief peek of it as we watch Fingers get a finger up the butt via a doctor giving him a prostate exam. You can count on one hand how many sexy prostate exam scenes there are in cinema, but this is one! At another point in the film, Harvey uses his fingers and a lot more as he pulls down a woman’s bikini and gets to work. There’s enough hard Harvey hide to give you an idea of what to do with your Fingers.
