Jalla! Jalla! (2000)

This fish out of water story is definitely right in the vein of Swedish comedy and is one of the funnier flicks to come out of the land of tall, beautiful people from the early 2000s.  Jalla! Jalla! follows a young immigrant who grew up in Sweden, Roro (Fares Fares), who is basically assimilated entirely at this point in his life and even though he works a menial job for the parks department picking up dog shit and keeping the ducks from trashing the area, he's more than happy.  He's especially happy with his girlfriend, Lisa (Tuva Novotny), who he wants to marry and spend the rest of his life with.  He even has a goofy best friend who works in the parks department with him, Måns (Torkel Petersson), who has problems of his own but proves to be a steadfast buddy.  Roro's entire life is thrown into upheaval though when he is setup in an arraigned relationship with a fellow Lebanese lady, Yasmin (Laleh Pourkarim), who is in danger of being shipped back to their respective homeland by immigration.  Well of course the natural solution is for Roro to try and marry Yasmin before she gets deported, but how will his current lady friend handle him being married behind her back?  The star of this one, Fares Fares, gives us a shirtless show but it's his buddy played by Torkel Petersson who gives us the only nudity for the naughty gents in this comedy.  Torkel shows his buns while getting a little whipping from a dominatrix while wearing a banana hammock for your viewing pleasure!
