Wishing her brother would disappear triggers the arrival of a group of kid-nabbing goblins that make her selfish desire come true. Feeling guilt over his disappearance, Sarah sets out on a brother-retrieving, time-sensitive adventure that takes her to the castle of Jareth the Goblin King (Bowie), which is located in the center of a surreal labyrinth. Once in the titular location, Sarah encounters a maze full of strange creatures and difficult puzzles. If the wishing sister doesn’t find her brother by midnight, he’ll be forever transformed into a goblin.
