Paradise (1982)

Everyone is looking for paradise in one form or another. For many it comes with the release of sexual tensions thanks to the releases of Our Paradise (2011), Paradise: Love (2012), Paradise Cruise (2013), Paradise Club (2016), Paradise Lost (2018), Paradise Beach (2019), Paradise Cove (2021), and Ticket to Paradise (2022). Of course, we must include Paradise (1982) on this list. Not to be confused with the TV series Paradise (2021), Stuart Gillard’s R rated flick centers around two teens stranded on a desert island. This knockoff of The Blue Lagoon (1980) stars knockouts Phoebe Cates and Willie Aames. Set in 1823, the action kicks in when an Arab escort pitches a mad tent-pole of lust over a British Merchant’s daughter (Cates) and kills everyone in her caravan. Only she and her boy-toy David (Aames) escape. Luckily, they find themselves in a surprisingly lush and fruitful desert populated pretty much exclusively by them and a masturbating monkey. Perhaps inspired by this one-handed display, David impregnates his lady love before they are finally rescued from their exotic oasis. As far as a plot, that’s all we’ve got. But if you’re looking for skin, fast-forward to the 41-minute mark and you’ll see Willie’s bait and tackle as he fishes in the nude. Later the bottomless babe flashes his ass when he crawls on the sand. Oddly enough, this revealing role earned Aames a Golden Raspberry nomination for Worst Actor. But with Willie’s willy exposed on screen, we think Paradise lives up to its name!
