Silent Scream (1979)

When is a scream not a scream? When it's a Silent Scream (1979)! Scotty (Rebecca Balding) is a college student in Southern California looking for a cheap place to live when she finds a boarding house run by the cold Mrs. Engles (Yvonne De Carlo). Scotty finds herself attracted to fellow boarder Jack (Steve Doubet), but notices that there's something strange about Mrs. Engles' teenage son Mason (Brad Rearden), particularly when other boarders in the house start turning up dead. Like much horror of the era, there's no male nudity to speak of, though sexy Steve Doubet does look sensational shirtless!
