Sitting Ducks (1980)

Mr. Man wouldn’t exactly call Henry Jaglom a Renaissance Man in the traditional sense even though he’s worked as a playwright (Just 45 Minutes from Broadway starring Judd Nelson), actor (Drive, He Said), and screenwriter/director of such indie flicks as A Safe Place (1971) with Orson Welles and Jack Nicholson; Tracks (1976) featuring Dennis Hopper and Dean Stockwell; and Sitting Ducks (1980). Not to be confused with the crime drama Sitting Target (1972), this crime comedy follows a pair of small time conmen — Simon (Michael Emil) and Sidney (Zack Norman) — who steal a lot of loot from a gambling syndicate. Wisely, Simon and Sidney decide to flee the country. Unwisely, they stop to pick up failed troubadour Moose (Richard Romanus) as well as Holiday Inn chicks Jenny (Patrice Townsend) and Leona (Irene Forrest) while making their way to Costa Rica via Miami. In other words, sensual shenanigans, multivitamin mayhem, yoga positions, and flesh flashing ensue. Sidney parades his pecs as he dons sexy swimwear. Not to be outdone, a shirtless Simon shows off his bulge in both a bathing suit and briefs. But not before they join Moose in the bath. Just three minutes into the flick, you can see Mr. Emil and Mr. Norman’s naked T&A. If that’s not arousing enough, Mr. Romanus bares his back, ass and sack in the tub. Rub a dub dub! In another scene, Richard shucks his shirt to seduce a woman in the bedroom. Like her, we’d love to sample his duck sauce!
