The Affair (2014-2019)

The Showtime series The Affair wholeheartedly lives up to its plot-spoiling title by giving us some adult film worthy nudity alongside a tale of adultery. Set in Montauk, New York, the 2014 psychological drama follows the illicit romance between Allison (Ruth Wilson), a married waitress at a Hamptons’ diner, and Noah (Dominic West), an equally married schoolteacher and aspiring novelist from Brooklyn. The show kicks off with both of them being interrogated by the police in separate rooms, which immediately cues viewers that something bad has happened. Noah was a bit perturbed by how much his wife's (Maura Tierney) rich family thought he wasn't good enough for her, while Allison was messed up that her hubby (Joshua Jackson) and her lost a baby. Viewers were intrigued how we got to see the events leading up to the affair from each of their POV's, with both remembering things a bit differently. For five seasons viewers watched as we learned the truth about Scotty Lockhart's (Colin Donnell) death, cringed watching Cole (Joshua Jackson) continually fail to win Allison back, and most importantly, tuned in to see which of our favorite fellas would be taking their pants off. Dominic West shows his butt in the pilot episode when he shucks his undies and goes in for a quickie with his wife.
