The Bridge (2011-2016)

Immensely popular series The Bridge, which is financed jointly between Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, has made waves internationally for its unique premise and immersive storytelling. The Øresund Bridge connects the countries of Sweden and Denmark. When a body is found on the bridge as a result of a mysterious murder, detectives from both countries must work together to find the culprit. While strong-willed main character Saga (Sofia Helin) often butts heads with international investigators, but through collaborative detective work is able to get closer and closer to the killer.  In season 1, episode 1 get a good look at Kim Bodnia as he strips out of his shirt to get into bed in just his underwear!
