The Civilization of Maxwell Bright (2005)

Most Americans know (and love) Patrick Warburton for his stints on small screen comedies such as Seinfeld (1995-1998), The Tick (2001-2002), Less than Perfect (2003-2006), Rules of Engagement (2007-2013), and Crowded (2016). But the boob tube babe also made time to dip his toe in the arthouse waters of the romantic drama The Civilization of Maxwell Bright (2005). Granted, his character in this R-rated flick isn’t much different than David Puddy and Jeff Bingham from the aforementioned sitcom hits. In other words, the brash and beer-drinking Maxwell Bright (Warburton) is looking for an obedient wife. As such, he orders a mail-order bride from China. But when the moral Mai Lin (Marie Matiko) moves in, Max gets more than he bargained for. Even though she’s a spiritual woman, her new husband spends his life savings to please her. If you think facing financial loss is bad, things get worse when Maxwell is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Suffice it to say, Mr. Bright’s future seems anything but. Speaking of butts, we are treated to a view of Mr. Warburton’s nude booty (as well as his bare back, sack and shaft!) when he receives a massage at the 24-minute mark. Even better, the skintastic actor goes full frontal just one minute into the movie! Considering how sexy Patrick looks, it’s no surprise his revealing role was well received at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, the Boulder International Film Festival, the Florida Film Festival, New York VisionFest, and at WorldFest Houston. Forget Oscar bait, let’s masturbate!
