Richard Gere is an Anglo doctor who returns to his Latin American home in Beyond the Limit (1983). Once there he rekindles friendships, and begins an affair with a former prostitute who just so happens to now be married to his best friend (Michael Caine). The love triangle becomes problematic as they usually do, and even more so when the doctor is asked to help a band of revolutionaries kidnap a diplomat. Viva la revolution!
