Concerned Citizen (2022)

The Israeli black comedy Concerned Citizen (2022) centers on Ben (Shlomi Bertonov), a politically liberal gay man who moves with his partner Raz (Ariel Wolf) into a newly gentrifying slum in the south of Tel Aviv. Hoping to add a little extra something to their neighborhood, Ben plants a tree that he hopes will bring the people of the neighborhood together. Instead, it infuriates the locals, who attack the tree, causing Ben to retreat on all of his liberal principles as he begins to think that some folks are just beyond help. 

Any Israeli movie centered around a gay couple is certainly a step in the right direction, don't get us wrong. And there are lots of hot gay sex scenes in the film between Shlomi Bertonov and Ariel Wolf, it's just a little disappointing that there's zero nudity in any of them! But hey, throw in a shirtless scene from co-star Uriah Jablonowsky and you'll want to be Concerned about that mighty oak that sprouted in your pants!
