Defiance (1980)

Defiance (1980) is about a merchant mariner named Tommy (Jan-Michael Vincent), who is on a break between jobs as a seamen. He takes up temporary housing on the lower east side of NYC, where a violent gang called the Souls is robbing, stealing, and assaulting with abandon. None of Tommy's neighbors will press charges for fear of gang retribution, but he refuses to let them win. So what does he do? He organizes his neighbors into a tribe of defiance (get it?) to take on the Souls and make the neighborhood safe once and for all. 

Jan-Michael takes up a love interest in his decrepit neighborhood, too, and the pair gets close pretty quickly. We get several great shots of him shirtless, once while he's brushing his teeth and another while he's showering. One thing is for sure—you won't be able to defy what's going on in your pants.
