Doppelgänger. The Double (2023)

The Polish film Doppelgänger. Sobowtór, or Doppelgänger. The Double (2023), is set during the Cold War and tells the tale of an elderly French woman attempting to track down the son she gave up because he was the product of an assault by a Russian soldier. Hans (Jakub Gierszał) shows up claiming to be that missing son, gaining free passage into France, while her actual son Jan (Tomasz Schuchardt) is an idealist fighting the good fight for a free Poland. As it turns out, Hans is a spy sent by the Russians to gather intelligence on a resistance group. In addition to giving an excellent performance in the film, Jakub Gierszał also goes shirtless for a straight sex scene, though we sadly don't get to see any of his naughty bits! Hell, if he was shy, we'd have settled for seeing some nudity from a Body Doppelgänger!
