Forrest Gump (1994)

“Life is a like a box of chocolates,” declares the mentally challenged title character immortalized by Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump (1994). “You never know what you’re gonna get.” Tom Hanks could get it, anytime! What Forrest Gump gets in his life is a comically impossible array of encounters with historic figures that include Elvis, JFK, John Lennon, and Richard Nixon. Based on the Winston Groom novel from 1986, this "Best Picture," "Best Director," "Best Adapted Screenplay" and "Best Actor" Oscar winner starred Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, a man sitting on a bench waiting for a bus who decides to tell the person next to him his life story. And what a story it is. From being a kid with leg braces who teaches Elvis to wiggle his hips, to playing football under Bear Bryant at Bama, to winning the Congressional Medal of Honor saving lives during Vietnam, ending up absurdly rich thanks to his shrimping business, and even kicking off America's obsession with jogging, Forrest had a hand in all the big events in American history. Trips to the White House, appearances on late night TV, and even being sent to China to compete in ping-pong tournaments were common occurrences for Forrest, but all he wanted in life was for his childhood crush Jenny (Robin Wright) to love him. A sweet slice of Americana, this one was a pop culture sensation in the 90's full of quotable lines and a never-ending parade of parodies. Tom has two sexy scenes in the movie. In the first one, he comes out of the shower and towels off his balls, artfully blocking his junk that, in the book at least, is said to be mammoth. Mr. Man would love to hump this Gump! Then, we see his ass as he lies in a hospital bed face first after taking a bullet to the bum! Mr. Man would be happy to bite that bullet! Stupid is as stupid does, but in Forrest Gump Tom Hanks was stupid sexy!
