In Praise of the Day (2013)

The Israeli short film Beshivhey hayom (2013), or In Praise of the Day, is set in a park in Jerusalem on a typical Friday. Everyone is rushing home to begin their holy day, leaving the park empty except for gay men cruising for a hookup. A young man named Oren (Oren Adaf) desperately needs to make a phone call, but his cell is dead. When his lover Nachum (Netanel Azulay) finally arrives and they head to his place, Oren is consumed with making his call, but soon, the passion between them becomes too much for either of them to concentrate on anything else. When the two get down to gettin' down, Netanel Azulay gives us a nice look at his total package: penis, butt, balls, and even a little backsack, proving that everyone's got their own form of worship on the high holy day!
