Ladygrey (2015)

In Ladygrey (2015) a community in South Africa must deal with the residual wounds after apartheid. The story weaves together various narratives, cumulating in a story of people so desperate to forget the past that they unknowingly endanger their future. The first flick from director and former cinematographer Alain Choquart, Ladygrey focuses heavily on the rich, beautiful landscape of the area, which juxtaposes with the violence humans have inflicted on one another.
