Parenthood (1989) tells the story of the Buckman family, a seemingly typical Midwestern gang that goes through the everyday struggles of raising kids, dealing with rebellious teenagers, struggling at work, dealing with relatives and addressing the problems of the past. Directed by Ron Howard, Steve Martin plays Gil Buckman, father to Kevin (Jasen Fisher), Taylor (Alisan Porter) and Justin (Zachary Lavoy), who are all struggling in life. That, combined with his own struggles at work, have him absolutely panicking when his wife Karen (Mary Steenburgen) announces she's pregnant. At least his life is better than his sister Helen's (Dianne Wiest). She's divorced, with a son who jerks off all day (Joaquin Phoenix), and a daughter (Martha Plimpton) knocked up by her stoner boyfriend Tod (Keanu Reeves). Their sister Susan (Harley Jane Kozak) is married to a scientist (Rick Moranis) who is trying to raise their child Patty (Ivyann Schwan) into some kind of a genius prodigy. Last but not least is Larry (Tom Hulce), a loser gambler with a biracial kid (Alex Burrall) he has no intentions of taking care of. This one chronicles the ups and downs of this family struggling to raise kids, keep their marriages alive and somehow maintain their sanity in the face of relentless ups and downs. Speaking of getting it up and pulling your pants down, an insanely hot, 24-year-old Keanu Reeves has a role in this comedy as an irresistible boyfriend. In one scene he dances around a room in his underwear shaking his ass. He fills those whitey tighties out so well you'll be begging to put your dick in John Wick (2014). Aside from Keanu and his tight skivvies, this PG-13 rated movie is pretty light on skin, but it is worth tuning in just to see Neo bust a move without his clothes on. You'll be feeling good watching him dance in Parenthood!
